On July of 2010 the first farm of cheese dairy in Goričko was opened in the village firehouse of Ratkovci. With the dairy farm we aim to preserve and promote the traditional livestock breeding in Goričko base on grazing and hay feeding. The project Krajina v harmoniji also aimed to promote the preservation of grasslands as an important habitat for butterflies and other pollinators which plays a very important part in the chain of fertilizer-free food production. The farms cheese are produced from the milk of sheeps, goats and cows. The equipments of the dairy farm are properties of the Public Institution of Krajinski park Goričko.

The farms cheese is an addition to the wide variety of delicacies offered by Goricko. With the purchase of these products, the consumer gets to support on the preservation and development of the production of non-traditional products of Goričko region.

The manager of the dairy is Valentina Šeruga Lazarovski. The farm offers:

• soft cheeses made ​​from sheep´s, goat´s and cow´s milk (in winter only from cow´s milk)
• semi-hard cheeses
• yogurt
• sour cream
• cottage cheese
• albumin crud cheese
• whey

The dairy is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8:00 and 15:00.

On Fridays and Saturdays the dairy is closed but the farms products are available in the food market in M. Sobota.

On Sundays, the dairy is open between 8:00 and 14:00.
