Puconci–Puconci – 75 km

The route begins in Puconci, and after a gentle climb through the village continues towards Vaneča, where you can see a collection from the National Struggle for Liberation in the soldiers’ home on the Vrbnjek hill, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Prekmurje plain which the hill affords.

The route continues over short hills and dales to Bokrači, where you can take a break and have a bite to eat at the Tremel tourism farm. A long descent to Dolina takes you across the railroad tracks in Vaneča and on to Salamenci, where you turn towards Pečarovci. A more difficult climb leads up to the village center of Sebeąčan, where you will find the Church of St. Sebastian, and not far away the Zelko tourism farm. Descending into Moąčanci and again crossing the railroad tracks, you come to the main road, which you follow for about 100 m and then turn onto the tourism road towards Kuątanovci.

The route leads past the Cpan homestead, where you will be happily served domestic fare and perhaps a spot to drink, and then follows a dirt road up a gentle climb through forests and vineyards to Kuątanovci (there are some nice views from the nearby hills), from where you descend by asphalt road to Mačkovci, cross the main road again, and follow the ascending road to Otovci. Here you can visit the Smodią orchard and tourism farm and the Grah tourism farm.

After a gentle descent through Vidonci and Kovačevci, where you can stop off at the Gjergjek orchard farm and try their home-made juices, the route continues on to Poznanovci. An up and down road through fields and forests leads you to Bodonci, where another climb awaits you up to the Bodonci Evangelical church, from which there is a wonderful view. This is followed by a descent into Vadarci and a climb up Drvaričev breg hill, where you can stop at the Marič tourism farm. Following a dirt forest road you rejoin the asphalt road in Beznovci and then again follow a dirt road through the fields to Strukovci, where you will find the birthplace of translator and founder of Prekmurje literature Ctefan Kuzmič.

The remainder of the route is level, and takes you through Puľevci, Lemerje, Brezovci and Gorica and finally back to the starting point in Puconci.
The route can be shortened in Vidonci, from where a road leads along the ridge to Pečarovci, and from there through Calamenci to Puconci.
