The Castle Park is located around the Grad castle (the large-circumference castle is one of the biggest baroque castles in Slovenia).

The extensive park was established in the 19th century and is an example of free landscape design, blending into the surrounding environment on the castle hill. Many large old trees have been preserved: oaks, plane trees, tulips, honey locusts.
