Down the centuries people built this picturesque cultural landscape and take care of it. And down the centuries it was always more cultural and social events. Today different tourist, cultural and other associations upgrade those events voluntarily. In Events Calendar 2011 you will find some Goričko traditional events.

WEDDING WITH A PINE TREE; SUNDAY: FEBRUARY 27, BODONCI
Bodonci Fire house, wood “Kralešček”, start at 8.00 a.m., all day long: This event is local feature. A Pine Seed as a groom and a Pine Cone as a bride will get married. Come here all of you taller than an ankle, bring along with you purses full of money and have quick dancing heels. Come with an empty stomach becose for the throat and for the stomach it will be provided.
