Rules of behaviour within the park are determined by the decree which prescribes protective regimes.

Goričko is an example of a conserved region, which is why it is necessary to preserve the water systems in running bodies of water and lakes and to provide sustainable exploitation of natural resources, etc. Only the following activities will receive additional attention:

• sports, cultural and public events will be directed to special sites
• flights of motor-driven aircraft will be limited
• we want the area to remain free of genetically modified organisms
• the state can exercise its pre-emptive right on areas which are important for the preservation of the environment
